Recently on his official website,world famous Dutch DJ and producer Hardwell announced an indefinite hiatus from touring and the music industry. This immediately shocked the world music lovers.
In his announcement, Hardwell said:'”Over the past few years I’ve come to know myself better and better and over time I realized that there’s still so much I want to share with my family and friends, so many roads I’d like to explore, but being Hardwell 24/7 leaves too little energy, love, creativity, and attention for my life as a normal person to do so.”
At the age of 30, Hardwell is presently considered one of the most popular DJs in the world, and the remaining symbol on the Bigroom world map. The fact that Hardwell announced his retirement due to health reasons and recent pressure at work was also shared in the latest interview on television in the Netherlands.
Hardwell canceled his tours in 2019 and his final set of music before stepping back into the limelight was: All Ages show in the Ziggo Dome during Amsterdam Dance Event on the 18th of October 2018.
Hardwell’s real name is Robbert van de Corput (born January 7th,1988). He started conquering the charts with the release of CD Eclectic Beatz at the age of 18. The hit Zero 76 under the cooperation and mentorship of Tiesto has put him at No. 1 Beatport and has radio coverage all over the world.
9 years later, Hardwell surpassed Mr. Tiesto to become the number 1 DJ in the world. Since then, Hardwell has released seven compilation albums as well as a documentary about himself titled “United We Are”. Furthermore, Hardwell is also the head of one of the biggest record labels of the time, Revealed Recordings.
